This burger is SO juicy and tasty!

Serves 3- 4 depending on your preferred size.

Recipe courtesy of Graze the Prairie

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. Graze the Prairie Grass-Fed Ground Beef

  • 2 Tb. onion (finely diced)

  • 1 garlic clove (minced)

  • 1.5 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/4 cup Guinness (or your favorite local stout)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp butter (for frying)

  • Sharp Cheddar Cheese

  • Pretzel Rolls

Directions:

  1. In medium size bowl, break up ground beef. Add the other ingredients and mix only until blended. Mixture will be loose.

  2. Shape into 3 or 4 patties depending on your preferred size.

  3. Let sit for a few minutes.

  4. In skillet (we use cast iron) heated to medium-high, add butter.

  5. Add burger patties and cook for about 5 minutes per side (we cooked 1/3 pound patties).

  6. While burgers are cooking, toast your pretzel rolls.

  7. When done, top with Sharp Cheddar Cheese. Enjoy!

NOTES:

We used a spicy mustard, pickle spears and caramelized onions for toppings for our burgers.

To caramelize onions: Thinly slice one onion, add about a tablespoon of butter to a skillet, add onions and cook slowly on low- medium temperature until onions are soft and brown. Add salt to taste. Optional: add a tablespoon of brown sugar.
